The technology partner Program is for partners that integrate their technology with Business Objects products to provide additional value to our customers through enhanced functionality or ease of deployment. These partners work with Business Objects in a ‘co-sell relationship’ that drives additional revenue for both organizations.
Business Objects partners with leading software and hardware companies to create solution kits and other technologies that support and extend the Business Objects business intelligence (BI) platform. Technology partners can benefit from our market leadership, financial strength, and worldwide recognition as a BI leader.
Through this program, technology partners can:
Benefits include free development and demonstration software licenses, access to the partner extranet, exclusive events, partner newsletters, and the Technology Partner logo. Opportunities are also available for technology partners to sponsor events, take part in marketing programs, and obtain quotes for press purposes.
Technology partners must agree to partner with Business Objects in a co-sell relationship. This includes designating an alliance manager, executive sponsor, and alliance marketing resource within the organization.
Technology must be validated by Business Objects within one year of joining the program. Technology partners must also produce at least two success stories per year of a joint customer using Business Objects technology. An annual program fee is due.
